Course Description
Students have the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of medical terminology and how word parts are combined to form most medical terms. Root words, prefixes, and suffixes and their meanings are covered along with the use of 鈥渃ombining vowels.鈥� Vocabulary building, pronunciation, and spelling are emphasized. Stenographic machine writing and voice writing options are discussed.
