MUSC 002: Music History: Classical, Romantic and Contemporary Periods

Course Description

This course is a survey of music history and literature from 1750 to the present, including cultural, intellectual, and social influences. The instructor provides an in-depth examination of the development of Western European music through analysis and synthesizing of historical details and stylistic elements of the musical trends of the era.
